    I can tell you and everyone thinking of going across to Kogan Mobile that you should not bother. They have no support! They have shut down their telephone support lines (you are told to raise a support ticket) and their support tickets either don’t work, you get an error or they don’t respond (I’ve been waiting 8 days for a ticket to be replied to).

    Kogan Mobile will be shut down shortly by the authorities (I’m sure) due to a complete lack of service.

    Kogan Mobile = Failure!

    They used to have phone support (of sorts) if you were prepared to hold on the phone for up to 2 hours listening to one Hall and Oates song over and over and over and over and over again until your head exploded but lately they’ve just stopped taking calls altogether and their phone support is just a recording telling you to go to the website and raise a support ticket. I have never had any support tickets responded to to date. In fact only one ever stuck and it’s been sitting there for over 9 days unanswered. Disgusting and I expect Kogan will be shut down very soon. The internet is starting to fill with complaints just like mine. Twitter is full of them, facebook is full of them too.

    It took them 8 DAYS to port my number across from Telstra and when they finally got around to it (it’s supposed to take 4 hours) I realised that their sim was dead so now I am without a mobile service at all and so my business customers will get a ‘this number has been disconnected or not in service’ message. I’m sure that’ll do wonders for my business. I now have to travel 200kms back into Adelaide to buy another Telstra sim to get connected again.

    All in all out of a possible score of 100 I give Kogan a score of MINUS1,000,000! They clearly don’t care about their mobile customers, this whole mobile entry was obviously a publicity stunt and they have no concern about keeping or servicing their customers.

    Oh, yeah. I also tried another of their SIMS in my mobile broadband dongle. It worked but when I tried to top up they took my existing data, wiped it away and replaced it with the new recharge amount costing me 800mb which I have no way of getting back – tough cookies. It’s gone (never mind that I had paid for it – it’s gone) and with no support line or staff to call there’s nothing I can do about it either.

    My advice is to STAY WELL AWAY FROM KOGAN! My experience with them has been NOTHING SHORT OF THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED.

    You’ve all been warned.
