The First full day was packed full of lots of varied acts. Getting there just before one we started off on Stage 2 with the Oki Dub Ainu band from Japan and then managed to pack in lots of acts.
Photographers are normally only allowed the first 3 songs or 10 minutes. Toni Childs, spoke for 10 minutes and then we were all ushered out before she even managed to sing a note. The crowd didnt mind though and were lapping it up. TAGO from Korea was one of my highlights and I saw them a second time on Monday.
The Waifs put on a solid performance although a photographers nightmare with the sparkly silver reflective top that Donna was wearing. I’d seen them a few times previously ( many years ago ) so left early to see what Baba Zula were like and they were excellent so moved up my what to see list for Monday.
